hello, im new to the game but cant play it cus when i launch the game it just gets stuck in the launching loading screen at the start and goes to a lower resolution. does anyone know if i have to download something or do something with the files or im i cooked?

Probably make sure your computer is fully updated and run a quick malware check. Also make sure you meet the recommended system requirements and that nothing else is downloading or updating in the background. If that doesn’t work, you might have a few corrupted files and might have to redownload the whole game. Let me know if any of this helps.
