Free to play leveling

I am currently on a free to play account and I wont be able to get the subscription until a week from now. Does all the experience I gain while having my character maxed at level 60 return to my character when I subscribe or is it permanently gone? If so I wasted 5 hours grinding.

You don't gain experience after 60 as f2p

You keep your experience when u subscribe and even after your subscription is up.
