Two friends now have recently installed and created accounts for SWTOR, they have never played the game before which is proved by the fact they had to add the game to their accounts for the first time. They both cannot login with their freshly created accounts because of the error "we cant log you in, please double-check you're using the steam account you usually play on", which usually indicates your account is not linked to your steam account. However their steam accounts shouldn't be connected to any accounts and they cannot connect their accounts without first successfully logging in using the account details. Does anyone know how to procede as this is now a problem being faced by two potential players and we have no idea what to do as all solutions involve de-linking an account from the steam account

Best suggestion is to call swtor support on monday when the lines are open and see if they can help identify why they are getting that error
