If you light the beacons, go to the people in the temple, choose the dialogue option "answer....or else", then proceed to kill all enemy npcs. The mission completely bugs out, it says to "look for evidence", ther eight any, then the quest marker leads you back to Iziz palace, the senators room is locked anyways. So you're stuck going in and out of a palace you can't do anything with.

the evidence is there in that room where the NPCS are try looking around not sure if it moves or not but that one took me a while to figure out

have you looked up behind/around the "Burnt dude" and in the side rooms I assure you there is in fact evidence I played out that scenario and was frustrated by it. When I did it the items where up behind/to the side of him
