"The login service is currently unavailable" | SWTOR | Page 1

I wanted to download SWTOR today and start playing it. I first created a new account on the website, downloaded the game via steam and after downloading it, the launcher started and i typed my account-information. after pressing at the "log in" button i get every time the ""The login service is currently unavailable"" message.

I restarted my pc several times, disabled my firewall and tried it again, watched several videos, looked at the launcher.settings file but without a success.

Then i deleted the Game and installed it with the Website-Client.

Now i still have the same issue.

Maybe someone can help me out.

check the antivirus isnt blocking , if you can ping launchpad.swtor.com then it should work
if you cant reach launchpad.swtor.com with a ping , its a net issue so best wait 24hrs initially and reboot the router/modem just to be sure

thanks for your answer. actually i wanted to try it out now but somehow it got fixed by itself

@torn grail see if you can ping launchpad.swtor.com, if it responds , its a local block usually caused by the antivirus or firewall
