Seems like the issue is fixed. But there should be some follow up on this for the devs.

These are my specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3080
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB
Storage: WD Black SN850 M.2 - 1TB
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B550-E
PSU: Corsair TX750M

Monitor: LG 27'' UltraGear 27GP850

Whenever i wanted to change my resolution, from fullscreen to borderless, or even my refresh rate the game always froze. Often my settings weren't saved either which meant in total i did about 30 reboots. Had to use the task manager to kill the game so i could start it again.

It works now, but yeah, this ain't normal.

Your best bet would be to submit a report on the forums here https://forums.swtor.com/forum/188-bug-reports/ or submit a /bug report in game.

I know. But you have a tech support forum so i figured perhaps someone could help me anyway.

Sure the previous poster told me before, not like i need to be told again.

And if your point is more about "why do you ask here instead of there" well what's the point of a tech-support forum if i can't use it?

I do appreciate both of you putting me in the right direction. It's just, the attitude seems to be very judgmental as if calling me stupid thinking this server could help.

Not any attempt to call you stupid, at all.

This discord is more about community support. The EA forums have direct access to people who can actually relay information to BioWare/EA staff for very technical issues that can't be easily referenced/assisted with.

You did specifically, after all, reference "follow up for the devs".
