Did you use a previous SWTOR account to login through your Steam account?
Okay, you can only have one SWTOR account linked to your Steam account at one time. If you can't get your old SWTOR account back, then you'll need to contact support to see if they'll help you get it unlinked.

Yeah, if you absolutely can't gain access to the old account because you lost the email or something, you'll have to email support and explain the situation.

Depends on how many tickets they have and how busy they are. Generally the turnaround for support is 48 hours or less, but it could be more with Christmas.
