So I've been running the story flashpoints for my Jedi Shadow (consular) and i've noticed that it keeps giving me tank gear, despite being spec'd as the stealth damage. Is this normal? Should I equip the gear even though it takes away mastery?

have you made sure your looting discipline is actually dps?

cuz if its set for the tank one, regardless of ur specialization you'll get tank gear from drops

I'm not sure where to go for looting discipline. The flashpoint in question was Taral V. It dropped both dps and tank gear

you should get the option to choose loot discipline

from there you choose the one you want, so the dps in your case

but do be aware, if u have 2 combat styles, both will appear
