#Steam version not working

What was the error message?
"This program encountered an internal error and will exit. Error code: C5
Failed to load game assets. Please contact customer support."
Do you get the same error when trying to restart the game?
Yeah. I've tried it three times now and got the same message.
I'll uninstall and reinstall it if I have to, but that takes forever and I don't know if it would even work.

When you're asked to run a repair on the game client, it means you'll need to make the SWTOR Launcher start a scan to find and repair or re-download damaged or missing files. Start the Launcher and log in, but don't hit Play yet. Click your Display Name on the upper right corner and select Settings...
