just wondering if you ever get moderate FPS drops with modern setups, if theres like 5-6 players on screen and a bit going on, I can dip to 80-90 frames instead of the usual 144. its not that big a deal, but the bigger issue is that the game doesnt seem to utilize my setup properly. Is it just cuz the game is so old and the engine is pretty crappy?

and is there anyway to "force" the game to use more of my GPU and CPU?

The Hero engine is poorly optimised for modern hardware. Unfortunately, your performance will also decrease in high density areas or areas with lots of VFX

okay honestly I don't care as long as it's not a me problem

I just was wondering if there was any particular reason as to why it wasn't utilizing my hardware properly, if at all really.

I do remember something going around years ago about changing the process in task manager in regards to core usage, I'm doubtful that actually achieves anything though and this was some time ago

that would just make your entire system more unstable for negligible gain

task manager manipulation almost never works and is never worth doing

except for ancient games, pre 2010
