If you only interested in the dream masters then it's explosive conflicf, Terror from beyond, scum and villiany, dread fortress and dread palace

Eternity Vault & Karagga's palace is like, very little/hinting, it really kicks off with The Belsavis Story Arc, then Explosive conflict, where you interact w/ them, TFB and then SnV, Oricon missions followed by DF & DP

I've just come back and was going to try and get all my items modded, but I am lvl 75 without access to the lvl 80 vendor yet. The gear on the GTN is really expensive. What's the best way to get mods now? Make money and use GTN or can they be rewards that drop etc.?

at level 80, you can gear up using pretty much any endgame activity you want

You can not buy good gear in this game. At any level you at simply playing the game gets you better gear than anything you can buy on the GTN

And all endgame gear so level 80 gear can not be traded between people so can not be sold

You can get to level 80. Unless you have artifact equipment authorization you can's equip purple gear, but plenty of decent 80 gear is blue/green.

Hello. What is the best way to gain Dark at the moment, it feels like they took away all of the efficient ways to gain dark points, especially on established characters that have done most of the content.

if you're subbed then provided gifts rewards should be enough to get 50 influence, otherwise you'll need to deploy him on missions

once you get him 50 lvl influence on any character, you'll be able to buy gifts from GS vendor (though this unlock is only server-wide, not account-wide)

(+you can lvl him with commander compendium instantly to 50 lvl but it won't unlock gifts purchase at the GS vendor)

levels should open up evry other week/month based on devs scheduling

@cerulean mountain press and hold the X until you sit completely, then quick travel, use ctrl+g menu/solo tab for travel out to trav point, stronghold, heroic or flash point and manually travel back.. do not use auto return from stronghold

Is there a way to get decorations from your guild? I know once I donate a decoration I can copy it using credits but is there a way to take those decorations and put them in my personal stronghold?

No. You can't transfer/buy guild decorations from the guild storage to personal strongholds.

i will warn you though, despite annihilation being one of the highest disciplines in terms of dps, the trade-off is it's incredibly difficult to master, if you find yourself feeling like you're barely doing damage, maybe swap to a burst spec, as dot specs arent for everyone

because annihilation is a dot spec, requires management of keeping your dots' uptimes incredibly high, as well as the saber buff you get, wanting to keep that dot up,

you have to micromanage the dots & your cooldowns

i main an anni mara, so i definitely like people succeeding, if you're up for learning more stuff, I'd definitely check in #resources the SWTORTheorycrafters channel has a rotation guide for it, but you really can't just "spam" abilities for annihilation, if you prefer to just "spam skills" may want to look at a discipline where the heavy hitting abilities go on cooldown, and are not subject to burning your rage & not having self-control w/ some stuff

Of course, burst specs can be tricky & have a rotation as well, but definitely will perform better if you're not really caring about a rotation

So I have a better idea of how it all works but I still don't know which ones to go for on my Jedi Sentinal. I was thinking artifice, synthweaving, and then either biochem, or cybertech.

I definitley like the idea of making crystals and dyes, along with crafting armor. Other than that I would just like to make some high value items I can sell on GTN, or make some items that will give me the ability to make high quality modifications for weapons and armor, or just making anything that will make me stronger in all aspects of the game.

While you can do 3 crafting skills on one char, it's often good to do 1 crafting paired with 2 gathering so you can get materials easily. Artifice (crafting) pairs well with archaeology (gathering) and treasure hunting (gathering) for example

I started with biochem/bioanalysis/diplomacy on my main. Many advocate for biochem on their mains because eventually you can make reusable stims that are ideal for endgame content and such

Not sure. Biochem crafts the Grit Teeth tactical which is one of the BiS items for Guardian/Jugg tanks and sells well. People do buy dyes and crystals so Artifice is good for that, Cybertech grenades sell too, I've seen

Some that I like: Ajunta Pall's, Armored Diplomat, Bastila Shan's, Force Apprentice, Kreia's, Loyal Adherent's, Pragmatic Master's, Revered Master, Tattered Mystic's, Xoxaan's (with the spikey gloves removed)

Valiant Jedi and Tau Idair's too even though one could argue they look more knight than consular

If you get the season companions you can chose to unlock them now and skip their little dialogue intros or wait till you get to KOTFE where their story intros begin

FYI the cutscenes for them are only like 4-5 lines and only the companion speaks your character becomes mute 🤐

If sub 1200 CC wait for your security key or sub gains to get you it then buy it off the cartel market

If it's more you'll need to buy it for credits. For that level of credits you'll need to wait for endgame crafting grinding to sell enough to make the money

I just finished my first Flashpoint and is the game intended that you can/should do it alone and that it takes a bit to finish it or should you do it in groups?

most flashpoints have a story mode that gives you a combat support droid, and they're easy to do solo if you want to watch all cutscenes

you can also join a group via group finder (Ctrl+G, group tab) for veteran mode (or in the fleet chat for flashpoints that aren't listed in the group finder, like Colicoids or Kuat Drive Yards), but usually people skip all cutscenes to run flashpoints faster. if you join a group, i suggest telling them that it's your first run, so they will be nice =)

here we are nearly 2 months later since SWTOR banned me for seemingly no reason and they have still yet to tell me the exact reason I was banned aside from "you violated the TOS or the EULA"

in the form of "there is nothing we can do and it says you were banned for violating either the TOS or the EULA, but we'll send it up to account disputes and they'll help you"

where 2-3 days later(if they bother sending an email) they'll tell me that I was banned for violating the TOS or the EULA and that they will not be reversing their action because they "performed all possible investigations on the matter"

which all this leads me to believe is that there is no one actually doing anything in account disputes and that they don't know why I was banned aside from what the computer says

(Sorry for late response, was driving) depends on what you want to do or what you want to accomplish, Archaeology is good for some shortcuts on some dungeons, similar to slicing or scavenging, however, if you're wanting to make stuff, it depends on what you want to make:
Artifice for Lightsaber Crystals, dyes, lightsabers, etc.
Synthweaving for Augments, Jedi/Sith Robes, Lighter clothing, etc
Armormech for Augments, Heavier clothing/clothing for tech classes,
Armstech for Augments, Sniper Rifles, Blasters, Pistols, cannons, etc
Cybertech for Augments, Modifications, enhancements, etc
and my personal favorite: Biochem: Biochem makes Stims, Adrenals, Medpacs, as well as those that have biochem, can make reusable stims, If you plan on raiding at an endgame level, having someone at max biochem to use reusable stims, adrenals, medpacs, etc is very nice, but only if you're gonna fill that niche. The Augments most other crew skills make is what makes them a ton of money, endgame augments

per character, you get 3 crew skills, you get 1 crafting skill (the ones i listed above), each crafting skill needs a gathering skill (Archaeology, Slicing, scavenging, etc), and a companion/crew skill (Diplomacy, Treasure Hunting, etc)

and you need both a gathering & companion skill in order to obtain items necessary to craft things with the crafting skill

i believe the amount of crew skills per character is reduced if you're not subbed, but im unsure

There’s a similar looking, orange armor that you can get from the Adaptive gear vendor on the fleet. I think it’s just the armor though. I believe the helmet is different.

Skip tokens are weird. I used to suggest them to people who, let’s say had a guardian who wanted to try sentinel, I’d recommend boosting a class that you already played because it story skips you as well, but I really don’t see a practical reason to story skip anyone unless you’re trying to use it for an endgame alt

That being said, if you’re subbed and you have like, 2 tech classes already on main (example let’s say sniper and scoundrel) you could go with 2 more on a skipped trooper which is running vanguard and merc, which would cover all 4 tech classes

most classes will have 2 dps specs (1 burst, 1 dot) with a 3rd being tank or healer, in the case of the only dps specs, usually it's just another dps spec, For Marauders it's fury, which has i think another force jump, so it can move around a bit more, i think it's burst, im not as familiar with it, for engineering sniper, it's got a lot of aoe placement, explosives, etc, so it's also like, a bit more unique then like, standard dot or burst, there's probably someone in here who can explain those 2 specs much better than i could

Yes, keep going with story quest and whatever you get from your story quest stuff use that then worry about gear on the fleet in supplies section later when you get above lvl 20.

It's cheaper and easier to get a set of specifications on a laptop than it would be for a PC now adays. Me and my friend did the research not that long ago on it

The only thing would be for a PC the cooling fans would be better.

for dps, usually enhancements for critical, alacrity & accuracy at higher levels.. for tank types shield, absorb & defense types. the mods slot will usually be the standard version without the extra letter indicator. top slots for hilts, barrels & armor plates will be red (dps/heal)or blue (tank) colors

mainly what to look for are a balanced set of stats across the enhancement 8/8/12 instead of 14/10/4 for instance

Well depends how good you are, saw a healer in NiM SnV getting bored and went to 311 gear and did 30k

For a healer gear matters less given how much of it is crit dumping, for Tank a little similar as long as you still got a good balance, but for DPS their is more factors to balance so more important higher gear. modded 336 gear with purple enhancements and purple augs is perfectly good and will clear you all content

anthing more is number hunting mainly or trying to mid max to make it easier for the team

can i use old 6.0 lvl 75 gear and switch augs for my set, it is yelling at me about the set-bonus but i assume those dont exist anymore

Set bonus only works between 70 and 75 otherwise does not work anymore

Cause the german server has a lot less people on it compared to DM, one being that hord is more locked to german over english which is a much more spoken language. And Horde as a server has developed a bad rep of being a toxic server so many germans moved to DM to escape it
