Hi there,

I like the "Kinda D*cks" thumbnail. It makes me curious to watch it. All the elements of the picture help conveying a single feeling. It does seem a bit clickbaity, but that's exactly what we want though.

The "Grenade Review" on the other hand is a bit cluttered. There are no hints to guide the movement of my focus to different parts of the picture one by one (unlike the other one). The background is filled with objects to the point that there is no empty space left to be counted as a background. I don't know what to expect from the video (unlike the other one).

So, I really like the thumbnail on the right, and I think it will be helpful if you follow the same pattern.

Hey, I think you need to adjust the photo of yourself before adding it to the thumbnail. The pic of you feels very 'plain' as a layer, by adjust I mean add a filter, adjust colors, using iphone filters before photoshop is easy, or create a new project in photoshop with just the raw photo, add filters, then clip it into your thumbnail.

I'd also consider something else for the background, the color scheme with pastel colors feels kinda plain.

Instead of "grenade review", maybe consider something like "these s*ck" or something positive if they are good, that would grab peoples attention better who may not be looking for a review, but would be interested in hearing why they were just told something sucks.

I appreciate both of your feedback on this @mortal berry @frozen cedar thank you

As for photoshop ooff, i've been putting off learning it, so far i just make my thumbs in a davinci timeline so the thumb is super consistent with the video

I guess i'll ask here as well - one of my screens is a bit bad with colors. So i struggle to know which colours to trust an audience will likely see.

Do either of those look a bit off in some way color wise?
