#Using real-life images or using my own "art" to depict animals in my next video?

Long story short, I am planning on creating a video titled "13 Marvelous Mammals You Didn't Know Existed." As I was nearing completing the script, it occurred to me that I should see if there's enough public domain or Creative Commons images online for the species I was hoping to talk about, and I sadly discovered that only 8 of the 13 have near enough photos for my video. Mind you, to qualify as "enough," the species merely needed at least 4 proper photos, and even those that did qualify had some less than perfect options for me to use. As such, I was wondering if I should try something I've done once before where I created the animals being discussed using shaped. When I did this in the past, the video did poorly but that could be chalked up to a number of factors in all fairness. Anyway, I've designed a male okapi, an elusive species of plant-eating, hoofed mammal from Central Africa, as an example of what this would look like, so not horrible but not superb either. So, do you think I should try creating my own animals again, or should I only talk about species that I can find enough photos for? (To clarify, if I did the latter, then I'd at least use one real image as well, so the audience has a better sense of what I'm talking about.) Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

this is awesome! I absolutely believe that your own art is charming, engaging, and ESPECIALLY important now with the rise of AI slop. It will only become more so, as people get more and more turned off the AI generated garbage. Send me your channel link bro I would love to support
