I've been making YouTube videos for about 2 years now, and I'm at the point of giving up. I just can't seem to draw any sort of community, and the only time my videos perform above 800 views is when I'm trend hopping or click-baiting (and even then it sits around 1k-1.3k). Any meaningful content that I actually want to make gets discarded in the algorithm void and "fans" have been leaving my channel left and right. I feel like I'm losing all the traction I've built and I don't know what to do.

I'm open to any advice at this point.
Here's my channel link: https://www.youtube.com/@SCLAPP_

So did you start YouTube as a hobby/because you enjoy it or did you start because you wanted to be famous or make money? If it’s the first one why are you thinking about quitting if it’s what you enjoy?

hey man! honestly you are way further in your journey than me, but I do make gaming content, so my thoughts: I think a more personal intro (with you speaking to camera, or larger in frame) would create far more personal engagement. for example the "minecraft but everything is terrible" video, I wouldn't usually continue watching, as it appears to be without a facecam. I think especially now with AI voiceovers on the rise, we NEED to ensure people know it's us speaking? just my thoughts 😄 I should really be asking you about the audio and video elements because it's AWESOME
