I've recently started posting gaming videos on YouTube in the style of Smii7y, Soup, Vanoss, etc and have found that none of my content is being pushed. I put a decent amount of work into my videos and I want to improve the overall quality but its hard without proper analytics and feedback.

Lmk what you guys think I can improve

Explore the mountainous world of PEAK. A land where the banana peel is mightier than the sword, and I use it to repeatedly kill my friends because its funny.

After making this I wonder why they still agree to play games with me.

Once again please sponsor me Gamersupps

So the concept of thumbnails are to grab someone's attention at a glance. Your first 3 longform videos thumbnails don't do that at all nor do they convey what the video is about.

For this peak video you have a bunch of wasted time right after all the yelling and screaming in the first few seconds. "Sponsor me" doesn't do anything for viewers.
The peak thumbnail is definitely the step in the right direction.

3 Sec in and a mega loud scream makes me click away and if it were a "normal video" i would give you a dislike

What can I do to improve

For me, there was nothing interesting in the first 1 min. It annoyed me more than it was entertaining.
I just watched a bunch of people i dont know play a game.
But im probably not the right audiance anyways.
One tip to improve would be... make it WAY shorter and cut of the slack.
Ill leave the rest to Scoop, hes probably better with letsplay stuff

You have at most 30seconds to catch someone's attention so putting unnecessary things in there is a good way to have someone click off.

If your aiming for a younger audience with "loud is funny" then there's nothing wrong with that but for my viewing taste the first few seconds were off putting.

Your only a few videos in. Treat the content as backlog for future viewers. You are only 4 pieces of longform so give yourself some credit and grace and don't worry so much about the view count.

But you are in one of the "everyone and their dog can do it" niches and are up against 3.5million uploads each day and your thumbnail would be in competition with 8 other thumbnails on someone's homepage. Thats something to consider.

Gaming in general is rough and you have to claw out a viewership because while you did a video on peak the hype has died down a bit and there's easily at least a million other videos on this. So thats were charisma comes in. Another things to consider is when making content with your friends you all find yourselves funny but does a random audience also feel the same? Just something to keep in mind. Making youtube content and getting viewership isn't a sprint, it's a marathon. You could blow up after 5 videos, 10 50 100 or never. Ideally you make adjustments with each upload and notice the "returning viewers" tick up.

Thats good advice thank you.

Im aiming for a target audience around the ages of 18-30 and trying to focus on that mid 2000s dumb fun content. Do you have any recommendations or critiques of things to focus on or remove from future uploads entirely?

Im also going to take the advice you gave about the intro clip and title length into consideration on my next video.

Alot of it is going to come down to experience overtime. It's alot of experimentation along the way. What works for some creators doesn't work for others so I tend to give general advice.
Another thing is you might aim for 18-30 but the range could be drastically different than expected and you can't really control who enjoys your content.

My advice is to upload your content and make adjustments in areas and to avoid the stats until you have meaningful data (1k views on a video)
