85% sure it has entirely to do with the thumb/title, but i need a second opinion before my head explodes. I've made over 250 videos on my channel, so many different designs, themes, gimmicks, etc. etc. etc. with no momentum or decent growth in sight. Taking any kind of advice atp 😂 'cause my watch hours are about to overlap and when that happens all hope is lost

The boys finally play Phasmophobia, and it totally goes well (it doesn't).
Phasmophobia is a horror co-op that requires skill, dedication, and teamwork, all of which none of us have! That being said, we get into a lot of shenanigans in this video. Let us know what your favorite moment was!

Well, to be blunt I dont think most of your title/video ideas are super interesting. Your best videos minus the much and odd challenge one being outliers: are videos where your titles actually have some sort of intrigue "oh hows this game better than X". Currently your last few titles really tell me nothing about the video content, or the niche for such thing is so small that it has little room to get pushed, and most of the thumbnails are pretty bland.

Going to agree with brokenstaff here.
So when you make thumbnails you have a few seconds at most for someone to convince someone to click on your video.
So With that thumbnail and "The boys take back phasmophobia!!" isnt the most attention grabbing.

What I notice is the thumbnail doesnt really have a focal point and its overall really dark without purpose.
Phasmophobia with that font (not sure if thats just the normal logo) and size will probably be not legible at smaller resolutions.
I highly recommend using https://thumbsup.tv/ to see what thumbnails look at for every potential viewer.

Now as far as "watch hours about to overlap and when that happens all hope is lost" im going to say thats false.
If you are able to make a watchable video and it keeps people watching you can get your watch hours with a video if your lucky or handful will do the job.

I would ask yourself questions like "if this wasnt my video would I click on this? Would I keep watching my content if it wasnt mine?"

Making content is easy but making watchable content takes a bit of nuance. The more questions you ask during the creation process the better in my opinion.
