Need advice on how to record my voice properly

I have no knowledge on this topic and I need help! I bought a Fifine AM8 microphone, a Fifine SC3 sound card. I have no idea how to get high-quality sound from these devices, I need advice!

Context:
Im starting a manhwa recap channel and need to record my voice in the best quality possible. Thanks in advance!!!

• That is a dynamic end-address microphone. Make sure that you have it close to your mouth and that you're talking into the "top" of it.

• Set your gain correctly. This is dependant on your voice so I can't really tell you what to do. Aim for around -12db so you have headroom when editing.

I also own a Fifine AM8. If you're using OBS, change some settings.
Go to Audio Mixer at the bottom, click on the 3 dots, Filters.

Add Noise Suppression, Noise Gate, and Compressor in that order.

Imo just do all that in post.

No point in baking in filters

i just dont feel like this is enough for my videos. I want to start doing manhwa recaps and to be successful in this niche my voice needs to sound really good

Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve both have powerful audio editing features

Doing it in post is better as you have more flexibility to tweak settings if you make a mistake
