The only other thing I’d say having watched the FLAT TIRE KILLER…is the animated character seems a little out of place. Like why add a cartoon to a channel on crime? It’s definitely different. But I think your channels angle would be ‘lesser known crime stories’.

That's fair. I went with a character as I had an attempt at a faceless channel which did extremely poorly, so I wanted to try something different

I mean nothing wrong with trying something new/different. You gotta go with what feels right for you!
On my end it felt like it took me out of the story/vibe when the cartoon appeared. Obviously just my opinion…you gotta go with what works on your end!
