What is this "Corrupted" audio your talking about? Are you talking about audio peaking? Are you talking about an issue in your video editor?
What does it sound like? Etc.
Here you go
How Much Better Is The Switch 2?

Ok where is this corrupted audio at. Sounds like the gain is way too high from what I listened to
What is gain?
and how do I fix it?
Its how much energy your microphone pics up. Too much gain you pick up breaths, noises from lips when talking. To little gain and youll sound far away or not be detectable at all.
How do I fix it?
And edit it so that it actually sounds coherent?
By adjusting your microphone.
Kinda too late for it
I have to fix it in editing
Never too late to re-record. If you are deadset on using this rough audio you can try to put on a noise gate but the default recording sounds like the recording mic is in your mouth at times.
You never explained what "corrupted audio" is
I can’t really re-record it because my switch 1 is gone now
Its probably what you meant with the too much gain
What is a noise gate?
Its a filter that cuts out noises at certain levels of audio you set. No way to tell if itll even help in this scenario. Do you listen to your audio recordings with headphones by any chance before editing?
No
It sounded just fine in the editor
well youtube didnt mess up the audio so this is from the default recording. I would highly consider setting aside time doing test recordings and learning what filters to use to avoid this issue in the future.
It sounded just fine when I audio tested and in the editor though
