You are using an AI voice that does not fit the Sam O'Nella vibe. But I like that you immediately start the video from the content. So many people fail here. This alone makes you stand out. However, there is a lack of focus. The video is directionless and as a viewer I am left asking, Why should I care? You, for example, list all the experiments in succession. But this alone does not produce engagement or give viewers a reason to care. You should find this reason and write your script around it.

Your thumbnail is also a bit too much. There is too much going on. The details are too small. It should be simplified by bringing one or two of the subjects to the front, making them bigger, and making it more obvious that whatever is going on with them is a result of an illegal science experiment. Currently, it's not obvious from the thumbnail alone (ignoring the text because you shouldn't need text, ideally) that the video is about this.
The title is fine. But it also kinda seems like it lacks focus. I feel like are splitting the viewer's attention by having both the words "most evil" and "banned" in the title.
Also did you make a new channel?
Isn't this also you? https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_DBwAN51qYfoK2fNwmPj9w
AI voices can work. You just have to pick one that sounds good and fits the vibe.
It's a bit hard to show examples, since I don't subscribe to them, but there are lots of channels out there using AI voices
For example this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXf4kj36VQ4
I remember being recommend more niche AI voiced content too. And it actually wasn't bad. The voice over didn't significantly negatively affect the viewing experience because it was done well enough.
You could add it to the thumbnail instead maybe?
or the other way around
@spark totem are those all your own drawings?
Could just be one word "BANNED" or "EVIL". lowercase would work well too for your vibe I think, "banned.", "evil."
Like obviously some are based on wojaks but I think you have a nice art style for the most part. Some things I didn't like mostly when you were trying to show some sort of affliction on them. It's hard to tell what's going on. Like the guy with the mosquito on his face he idk what happens there it's hard to discern. The guys with the black band idk if that's a rubber band or a bandana or something also kinda hard to tell what's going on. The mr beast character looks nice. Honestly a lot of the characters look nice when there isn't something that makes the details hard to see. Like even the guy with the puffer fish on his face the puffer fish looks okay but youre losing details elsewhere. Just some things I noticed. Also there is very little animation id say more like a slide show/power point. What software are you using? And the AI voice can't tell it's AI too much but I think you'd be better off creating some type of script like a screenwriter. This felt more like a guy speaking at me vs a story
The thumbnail stuff I agree with above you need like a couple guys bigger and like banned in red text
So can see details
@spark totem what kind of computer you working with? I'm guessing you have a tablet?
To draw on
Yeah the thing with the script I think what could work with your characters is like having them interact with each other in the story. That way each character has their own voice and their own plot points
Oh I see toonsquid is for ipad
So you have an apple pencil?
Ah but it works for iPad
Interesting well that's good you have something to work with then. I don't know much about the software but it says it has key frames and other nice animation features so what I would do if I was you is just watch a boatload of tutorials for it, and do a bunch of practice of the animating part. You will be able to make much more interesting videos if there is some animation even if it's simple like making the mouths open and close like you can just put a black circle on the face when it's open when they speak and alternate open and close to make them look like they talk
Good luck, and feel free to ping me if you ever want some more animation advice
No prob, animation is a lot of work so it's definitely something you gotta try to get really good at before you can crank out videos on the regular. Like it can easily take 5-10 hours for 10 seconds of animation by yourself if you make it really detailed. But you can make the animation as simple or as complex as you want once you get good at it
Everyone starts somewhere. Nobody has the skills when they begin haha. I think you're already doing well by being able to have an art style and draw your characters now you need to just work on learning the animation of the characters. Doesn't have to be all at once just practice, watch some tutorials, learn more and you'll get better as you go. And if you keep uploading to YouTube your viewers/subscribers will get to see your journey and how you grow too. You should always be trying to get better each time/with each new video if you can or trying something new each time too. You have only one video? Or very few? So you are at a stage where you can experiment with different art styles, different topics, different animations different ideas etc. I'd also look into going to the library get some screenwriting books to read as that will help you with writing the script and how to tell stories for the screen
Any time, glad I can push you in the right direction
I love the topic chosen, you could work on the script a bit and as others have pointed out, in some frames I can’t tell what the drawing is depicting. It may be too much gore for you, but have you looked at any pictures of the things you’re attempting to draw?
