#Should I Change My Channel Name?

So my channel is currently called "Absolute Zero". I named it that because it is a channel that is focused on Perma Death Gaming. I used to play a lot of Overwatch and one term in that game is when an enemy is low people will call out "enemy is one" or "enemy is absolute one" meaning they have just 1hp left and you should hurry and attack them. So Absolute Zero means if I lose my 1 life and go to 0 I truly mean 0 because I will NEVER play the game i died in ever again.

Though I have been thinking on it and wonder if I should make the name more personal because i feel like people find it easier to connect/relate to an individual rather than a product. For example Ryukhar. He mainly does Mario Maker videos but he doesnt call himself Mario Man or mariomakergamer right? If i did i would change it to either "The Duffin Man" because that is my online persona and it usually gets people talking about it with the relation to the muffin man. Or maybe even just "Duffin" to either keep it short and sweet or if "The Duffin Man" is too much all together?

I feel like Absolute Zero holds up with what im doing but i cant help but feel maybe being a bit more personal, shorter, or easier to remember might help more since it would still be accurate in the sense that I am using face cam and narrating over my own gameplay.

Thoughts? 🤔

When I read Absolute Zero, the first thing I think of is temperature. I thought you were going to be a science channel. I used to play/watch Apex, and a similar callout is used there. However I would personally never relate the usage back to your name without you having to explain it. I personally like The Duffin Man more in a gaming context.

That said though, that doesn't mean you should change it, I am just 1 person after all that doesn't watch any gaming content on Youtube. You should have a name that you like.
