Hi there.

Trying something new for my intro (again) kind of a cold opening where I describe the events of a game from a second person perspective without naming the game - thoughts?

**You wake up in a place unfamiliar to you, your head pounding as you pull yourself up from the cold stone floor, with no memory of how you arrived or whats happened.

You find a strange viscous fluid trailing across the floors, following it - the large darkened castle you found yourself in begins to creak and change around you, almost as if its reacting to your presence, like a living organism.

After carefully wandering the shifting halls, you find a letter - a letter written for you.

A letter written by your past self**

This could definetly work if it isn't too long. In general people like to know what they're watching quickly or they loose attention. On a storytelling note, I see you start a lot of sentences with "you" this can feel repetitive. I suggest changing the second sentence to "Finding a strange viscous fluid trailing across the floor you..." You can also scrap some filler words to make it a little shorter
