What do you all think of these 2 thumbnails?

for the yugioh one, I'd say put a bg that screams yugioh, otherwise it's really hard to tell without a big thing screaming yu gi oh. Also text you should always border it with black lines to make it pop, solid colour especially so many, dissolve into the bg and it's hard to read from afar

the pokemon one is much better, make the text bigger and thicker because a lotta people would read it in really small thumbs on phones, and then you can reduce a few elements if you want because a lotta things going on in that one image which might confuse people who'll only look at a thumb for like 0.5 seconds before deciding if they are interested or not
