I just began doing youtube (Well its been a year but really really inconsistent) And really would love some feedback on my youtube channel and my latest video. I do gaming video's, with some really nice editing to what other people have said and would love some feedback on optimizing and getting the full Potential out of my content.

The feedback I generally want is is my video barrable or atleast watchable from a thirdperson pov. Example if someone were to click on my video would they watch it and if not where could I improve on. On my last video, someone said my audio needed stabilizing as I was louder than everyone else yet my editing and content was good but my voice could kill everything

I tried my best on to cut any useless content or video parts that didn't needed to be in the first place. Also is the editing over the top or just not enough. My main goal is not to have a plain video but also not reach the absurdity of some brain dead brain rotted video with way to much editing.

The video is about a Multiplayer SCP game (SCP is about some creepypasta forum fiction) where there are about 30 players with different roles all having their own goals and challenges to do while the game goes on. Which could lead to big chaotic moments to some truely questionable moments. I play the game more of a bystander watching everything go on as if I am playing the game for the first time.

Anyways heres the link for my video and would really like some suggestions on thumbnails which I usually really suck at.

Also the thumbnail is the image provided through this.

Well welcome to SCP Laboratory
A game where the most wickedest most horrible war crimes imaginable occur just because someone got beef with another man. Complete uncensored chaos and fun is all this game is about

ik youre not aiming for brainrot editing, so take my adhd opinion witha grain of salt lol
First 6 seconds of your video is just a title screen; you only have about 3 seconds to really capture your audience, so I would either shorten this bit or make it a png thats there while the video is playing already. The "Hope you enjoy" title card also felt too long

I do REALLY recommend getting a better mic as it sounds a sorta low-quality and scratchy (and maybe intro music volume can be lowered by 10-20%)

Maybe curate your clips a little more to only include REALLY REALLY funny ones; if you a clip thats more than 10 seconds of non-substance, its better to take it out or trim it. Kinda like when youre making an art portfolio, only include your BEST work, even if that means only displaying 3 pieces rather than all 30. You dont want possible employers (or viewers in this case)to see anything other than your best

I tried playing some game soundtrack music in another tab very quietly for some ambience and found that I like it more than the silence; this could be just me tho, so you just try it out to see if you like it if you want

I only made it about halfway through the video since I have goldfish brain, but one last thing is that I think your thumbnail could br improved (although I dont think its awful now)

I made a little mockup of what I mean, just adding more visual interest to the original (prob different text would be better, this is just what popped into my head :p)

  1. You should have watched it fully it had some funny parts in the mid to end. But I can’t really force people to watch a video so I need to focus on only including proper clips so that’s some nice feedback

  2. My mic is a hyper x cloud for like 120 dollars so ig HyperX is just really really bad. I’ll try to stabilize and fix up my mic around some parts of my recording next time.

  3. Also that thumbnill is amazing lol, I would really appreciate what type of software you use and how you learned thumbnail editing. I’m pretty good at making titles and editing videos but holy fuck am I shit at thumbnails lol. Would it be okay if I used this as a demo?

Also ima try trimming and editing the video on the YouTube editor and see what happens, if the attention span increases or decreases.

Anyways thanks for your feedback.

Also for the ambience sound could you recommend some good ones for any type of games like a search prompt for any type of ambience
