I have my mic and desktop audio properly selected, i even have them seperated into different tracks, however when i record and say anything to my mic it just doesn't show up in the recording.

even this works fine but in recording the audio doesnt show up

If not, in Settings -> Output -> Recording, make sure you have selected the checkboxes for audio tracks 1 and 2
