I'm not sure which thumbnail I should use for the video - whether the jokey shitpost version version vs a more serious looking one would do the trick. The video itself isn't completely stonefaced, but I'm not sure how much I should bend into the meme angle cover. Looking for some advice with regards to this.

Video title is likely going to be "HOW DOES YUGIOH GOAT CONTROL FARE VS. 2005 MTG? - Card Connection"

I'd go with the first one if its slightly more cleaned up. Perhaps one meme face but bigger as the "scroll stopper"

i guess the next question is what would you think needs adding to the 2nd one to make it more "scroll stopper-ey"? i mean sure, answer could be "something indentifiable" but what do you think that should be for the 2nd one?

Uhh. Not too sure, you'd have to think of that. First suggestion that comes to mind is the text. Maybe make it stand out more. Change the phrasing a little and giving "GOAT" it's own highlighted colour perhaps
