If you want to work on having a more expressive voice, pick up a few children's books. The picture book kind, like Dr Seuss and that ilk. Practice reading them aloud, and do some funny voices with each new character. Experiment with how you use your voice, where your breath is coming from, even accents. Getting out of your shell and exploring the limitless possibilities of what your voice can do is the easiest way (and the most fun way) to really extend your possibilities.
