What will the title be?
Not sure yet, maybe: I Took A Longshot in Every FIFA
I like the pixelated-to-HD concept, not too sure about the text.
Maybe just an arrow instead of the text?
If you were to go to with the first one I would definitely make the text larger and/or increase the space between the letter slightly. Is there a better way you could represent the fact you are playing every fifa in the thumbnail?
Also I have to ask why? Why are you showcasing a long kick from every game?
Okay cool, that sounds like it could be interesting. Is there a way to represent the difficulty of this challenge in the thumbnail? Make sure to leave the viewer guessing as to whether or not you're successful in the challenge. If the outcome is ambiguous it builds curiosity.
This tells me there's something really exciting happening here.
To represent every game could be quite difficult as I would have to split space equally between 12 frames of each game, thus losing detail
Could you represent a few or maybe better demonstrate the difference between the oldest and newest? I like the pixilation, but can you push that idea further or elevate it?
Alright, maybe a three frame setting would work.
Split vertically, one pixelated, another less pixelated, another HD.
I was thinking maybe something like that. Just make a few more prototypes I would say and see if you can't make something the inspires more curiosity or creates some input bias.
I would use the first thumbnail, but completely remove the text "longshots in every fifa", that should already be in the title. just have the longshots as the thumbnail. Maybe add a seperating line. The left one is too pixelated, make it less pixelated but add maybe a slightly different color correction so it looks more "old".
I think this looks much cleaner
( I just used random google images, those aren't longshots, but you get the idea)
Compared to this. Of course you'd still want to add the motion blur and yellow lines etc.
Thanks for the feedback!
I really dig the last one.
I think it looks quite neat. I might have to play around with the glow on the player though.
This looks very professional in my opinion, I would look to see if hiding the player on the left behind the text looks better or worse. It would make the text more 3d but hide the player so idk
I agree. The player on the left doesn’t need to be highlighted and the text could benefit from some bevel.
I like this a lot as well. Very clean. I can easily understand how far the game has come over the years. It feels like there's a lot of action.
