I have very recently started a YouTube channel called Norwegian Opinion. We do Street interviews in Oslo and tries to get the Norwegian perspective on different topics. This video is about dating preferances for women. Really new to this, so where hoping for some honest feedback. Really want to improve. I am just learning Adobe premiere and How to operate a camera and so on. The language spoken in the video is Norwegian, but there are subtiles in english. Thank you!

Interesting concept, good job on this one!

I think your text outline is too big, which makes the text harder to read, so I'd work in readability for the subtitles. Also do you have another channel where you post for a norwegian audience primarily, without the subtitles? Who are you trying to target specifically by burning in english subs?

The thumbnail shouldn't have "norwegian opinion" on it because no one knows about your brand. It should have a fun quote from the video instead like "At least 6ft" or something funny/shocking that they said.

The video itself could be improved through various simple editing techniques like zooming in when people say something particularly interesting, making snappier cuts, changing the text style when something interesting is said, etc.

Anyway, you've got a lot you can improve on, but it's a solid concept. All the best.

Thank you for informative feedback! I am trying to target foreigners to educate them on norway and what Norwegian think of different topics. I do not have s channel for Norwegians yet. Havent quite figured out my strategy yet. But I will try to listen to youre tips and make my next video better. I know now what can be improved on. Thank you 🤘

I don't like the title or thumbnail. I think nothing about it is interesting. Though I watched the video and think it's overall decent. I would try something like title:

How to Get Norwegian girls!

Thumbnail: maybe a clip of two girls laughing and having a good time. Then the text overlay could be "Norwegian girls tell all" or something that indicates that they're the ones telling you how to meet them.

I would think more a quote of something they actually said like "Looks Don't Matter". I would use a different font color, that one is too light, not enough contrast. Maybe just white text with a black outline.

Thumbnails are tiny on youtube so it needs to be readable at small sizes. Try this tool to preview what the thumbnail would look like next to others: https://thumbnailpreview.com/

So some YouTube videos on thumbnails. They said that mystery was very important. This creates some mystery or?

I mean, you can try multiple thumbnails. switch to one, see if it affects CTR, switch to another later. I think having an actual surprising quote does more to create intrigue. Like "I want a man that is..." doesn't tell me anything about the video. Obviously they're going to say what kind of man they want since that's the point of the video. But something like "Short guys are fine" would create more "mystery" because I want to know what the context of that statement was, I want the full thing, because it's unexpected.

In your case one unexpected thing I heard in the vid was "Looks Don't Matter", which I think would surprise people, and make them want to click to hear more. But just try different things and see what works for your channel.
