The video is a video essay/short documentary about the novel "The House of the Spirits" by Isabel Allende. I try to make informative content about literature, that is engaging to watch, but is supposed to feel like something you would see in some BBC program.

As this is only my second video ever (three if you count the channel trailer), I want just some general feedback on which parts you thought were too long and which parts flow good, so that I can optimize it for future videos. Bonus question: What do you think of the thumbnail?

I think the thumbnail could be more engaging, I’m not sure what you should add but right now I have no idea what the video is about

I scrolled through your video, you use a lot of photos I would just take one that looks more interesting and put it behind her or something like that (I’m not too good at making thumbnails so take this with a grain of salt)

I just finished the vid, and gotta say I really like the production value here. Everything feels professional, and I like the footage used. For some stuff to improve, (i know nothing about this topic so take it with a lot of salt), I'd recommend seeing if you can weave in a quote or two that truly highlights the points you try to make, It also might just be me, but I had a bit of trouble keeping track of every character mentioned, but I really did like the analysis and vocabulary you used. And for a final point you could also see about exploring the impact of the novel on Chilean society & more.

even with that criticism, you have a really solid vid!
