As a politics nerd, I would click on something like that provided it's of a length that suits my tastes (well, either that or I would make fun of the title with my friends). I assume it's about China/Russia?

Okay thanks for the insight on this. Its more so about US as a whole but elements like China and Russia are discussed within the video itself.
Additionally which thumbnail would you say is better between the original and this one?

I like the first one best, just because the sinking statue of liberty is a very striking image. Best would likely be the first thumbnail with the text style of the second one

Thanks for the insight I also think the first one is better but my Click Through Rate is the worst its been for a while not really sure why tbh
