What: I would like feedback on my thumbnail. I posted this video last week. It's doing alright in terms of views (3000 currently) and AVD (46%) but CTR is awful (currently 3.9% and still going down) so I want to try a different thumbnail.
Type of Feedback: Is the thumbnail too busy? Do you hate it? Do you have any recommendations on how to improve it? I'll take any feedback

Hm. I think it's overall pretty good. Definitely clickable Some ideas on how to make it even better:
For the blue area, use the same hue as the green ELO numbers. Makes it less busy. Also, darken the chess board so that it is still recognizable, but the focus is more clearly on the ratings. Maybe even discard the title that says "Chess Rating" and/or the pawn, to make it simpler. The meaning is quite clear anyways.
Actually, why not make the grey part on the left a half-transparent overlay over the chessboard. You could zoom the chess board in a bit and maybe stretch it just a bit, that way it should not be noticeable. And then just the red arrow (without the blue part) behind the text
