Whenever I publish a short, it gets a ridiculous amount of views the first hour and then flattens out. Does anyone know why?

This is just how shorts work, they do really well for about 2 hours and get shelved.

Yeah shorts just get shelved after a while, it’s normal

Sometimes they get picked back up after several days. Just hold on to them (even the bad performers) as you never know what could happen. I had one pick up after 3 months.
