They can read the title "Beating EVERY PS2 Game - Battlefield 2: Modern Combat (2/1584)" so maybe it's better to have the second, but I'm unsure.

I'm not sure what you mean haha.

I"m trying to decide if I should make the text smaller to include "Beating", which provides more context for the video.

I'd say I agree that the second one is the best 🙂 When it comes to thumbnails less text is often better, so the tb should just aim to engage the viewer enough to read the title which can explain the premise a bit more in detail

But I personally don't know about the decision to have game covers in there, since I think it will be very hard to see what they are from a distance, so I would maybe make the text bigger and remove the cover since the image on the right + title should clarify what game it is 👌
