Hi All,

I build things and earlier this year I began posting videos of the builds on TikTok. I found some success there and have just began trying to start YouTube with longer form videos.

I have posted my first video and would love feedback. Specifically: I think the build is really cool and speaks to a wide audience, I just don't know (yet) how to make the whole video engaging. Because of this it ended up getting edited down to 2.5 minutes which just doesn't seem long enough for YouTube. Any input or critiques welcome!

First of all I think the video is plenty engaging as is. I really appreciate videos that don't waste viewers' time.

To make it longer you could include more about the build process, like a time lapse of parts being printed, explanations of ideas that didn't work, info on how much total time and cost the build took you at the end. Even links if someone wants to copy it? In fact, if you could get the plans to your builds in a PDF that would be a great side business if you want to go that route.

I think the pacing was really good. The part if you accidentally hurting yourself could have had a humorous comment added like "and adding some of my own blood" or something along those lines.

I wanted to see more time lapses in general of how it was all made and came together.

All in all great video though!
