This is just a shot in the dark, but ive been searching for about a month now on how to properly utilize the toon shader in octane. It really sucks and has a lot of issues, but a lot of people continue to create things (like I have attached in this thread).

Any advice?

Octane Render 2021.1 provides GPU based compositing in real time, directly in the preview.
In this case I've used it to create my own customizable toon shader.
Possibilities are just endless.

Note that i had to turn the plates outline way down because the toon shader broke at that angle basically. if you're not looking at an object straight on, it has issues. the bell also has some jagging issues with the outline, even if its a smooth sphere
