Ankh Charm and Ankh Shield

Summary:
(Any) Makes you immune to every vanilla negative potion effect.
The shield gives you the same exact benefits of the Cobalt Shield and Obsidian Skull in addition to the Ankh Charm.

Technical Information:

  • Charm is reforged with spectral silt although it is recommended to always upgrade to Ankh Shield because there are no downsides and you can reforge the Shield much more cheaply with Obsidian.
  • Obtained by crafting using an amalgamation of baubles.
  • When used in the offhand, the Shield's 8th main quality will apply but the secondary quality will not give it's bonuses.
  • Mending and Unbreaking work on Ankh Shield but no other enchants do. This means Natural Blocking does not work.

Uses:

  • Ankh Charm/Shield can be used to prevent slowness and nausea caused by inebriation from wine.
  • If you are not using Silver in the Lost Cities and are not using wine, Ankh Charm/Shield is still necessary as blindness can be deadly when fighting parasites and parasites can apply up to Poison 6 which does a significant amount of damage.
  • Using the Shield in the off-hand is an easy way to save a bauble slot.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Silver does not prevent inebriation so Forbidden Fruit and Ankh Charm/Shield is still required for wine.
  • Despite being crafted with a Ring of Free Action, Ankh Charm/Shield does not have the ability to bypass cobwebs.
  • Cobalt/Obsidian/Ankh Shield quality is retained upon upgrading in the anvil.
#

Arcing Orb

Summary:
(Belt) A combat accessory that grants additional movement speed, a dash stun ability and powerful lightning blast that both costs mana. Also grants additional mana and immunity to Lycanites paralysis debuff.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Glowing Ingots.
  • Obtained by crafting.
  • Double tapping a directional key will make you dash in that direction which simultaneously stuns nearby enemies (30 mana cost).
  • Hold X (configurable hotkey) to cast a lightning blast that deals 40 damage (300 mana cost).

Uses:

  • Provides relatively decent additional combat utility.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Arcing Orb has the most expensive crafting recipe of any item in RLCraft and by the stage you are able to obtain it, it's appealing abilities become largely unnecessary. Regardless, it is an optional goal and combat booster the player can go for.
  • Contrary to popular opinion, Arcing Orb is actually not very useful for Lost Cities combat. Although parasites do take 4x damage from electric type damage, a meager 160 damage single hit that costs 300 mana is less damage than one hit from a maxed weapon. The mana cost is also much worse if Dragon Flight is competing for mana consumption.
#

Backpack

Summary:
(Back) Cheap bauble that gives you additional inventory space and the encumbered effect while wearing.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Leather.
  • Obtained through crafting, can appear as dungeon loot or dropped filled with basic materials by a rare zombie/skeleton variant that has more health.
  • 36 slots of inventory space.
  • Break (hold left click) with anything in hand while crouching to pick up. Make sure the (back) slot is empty. Crouch Right Click with an empty mainhand onto an available block to place down and access.
  • Break normally to drop the Backpack. It will drop any items when doing so.
  • Can be dyed any color.
  • Encumbered effect reduces movement speed by 5%, mining speed by 10% and attack speed by 15%

Uses:

  • Traveling is dangerous and/or costly. Whether you are in a dungeon or exploring, you have to travel home on foot or use a fast-travel item. Being able to hold more inventory space to make each trip more efficient and worthwhile is a more valuable benefit than it seems.
  • Helpful additional inventory space in any non-dangerous situation (such as building).

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Being reforgeable with leather means its a valuable bauble for early game Undying quality.
#

Balloon

Summary:
(Any) Balloon is a bauble that boosts your jump height and reduces fall damage.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with spectral silt.
  • Obtained as dungeon loot or crafted.
  • Increases jump height by +2 blocks.
  • Stacks with High Jump and Lightweight enchantments.

Uses:

  • Jump height is useful for overall mobility for safer traveling, easier escapes from dangerous situations and more efficient and safer gameplay overall.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Balloon has a pseudo multiplicative effect with High Jump and Lightweight where using it with those enchants greatly increase overall jump height much more than just +2 blocks.
  • Jump height increases from bauble qualities such as Athletic will override jump bonuses like the Balloon.
#

Bezoar

Summary:
(Any) Makes you immune to poison.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Spectral Silt.
  • Dropped from Cave Spiders.

Uses:

  • Poison immunity is self explanatory.
  • Multiple bezoars are often obtained and multiple can be used for their qualities in the early game when you have few baubles.
  • Crafting component for the Poison Stone.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Two Bezoars can be crafted together in the crafting grid in order to reroll it's quality once.
#

Black Dragon Scale

Summary:
(Any) Provides immunity to wither

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Spectral Silt
  • Obtained by crafting or as very rare dungeon loot

Uses:

  • Wither immunity is self explanatory

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • N/A
#

Broken Heart

Summary:
(Any) Upon receiving fatal damage, consumes your heart containers to keep you alive. Essentially uses your full HP bar rather than just the head and/or chest.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Spectral Silt.
  • Obtained as somewhat rare dungeon loot.
  • Sleep to recover consumed hearts.

Uses:

  • The "Totem of Undying" savior type effect Broken Heart provides is extremely good and will often keep you alive long enough to escape or fight your way out. The effect is so incredible and consistent that it is arguably the best bauble in the game and is often used for the entirety of the game upon obtainment.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Triggers AFTER Skills Menu Undershirt perk.
#

Cobalt Shield

Summary:
(Back) Provides complete immunity to knockback, can be used as an off-hand shield

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Spectral Silt.
  • Obtained as dungeon loot.
  • Unbreaking and Mending work but no other enchants function.

Uses:

  • Often as a "whatever" bauble when you have no other alternatives. Knockback immunity is somewhat useful in the early game to avoid being hit into dangerous situations particularly in battletowers.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Quality is retained upon upgrading to Obsidian Shield.
#

Cracked Black Dragon Scale

Summary:
A crafting component for the Black Dragon Scale.

Technical Information:

  • Obtained as dungeon loot or through crafting.

Uses:

  • Can be disintegrated for Spectral Silt.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • N/A
#

Cross Necklace

Summary:
(Amulet) Bauble that doubles immunity frames.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Spectral Silt.
  • Obtained by either crafting or as dungeon loot.
  • Immunity frames double from 10 ticks to 20 ticks.

Uses:

  • Increases overall survivability by decreasing overall damage taken by getting hit less.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Has a glitched interaction with the Parry enchant where having both the Parry enchant and Cross Necklace will essentially remove your immunity frames which will result in very, very quick deaths. Parry is the better of the two and this will be fixed in version 2.10.
#

Dragon's Eye (Ice/Fire)

Summary:
(Head) provides permanent fire or ice resistance, complete heat or cold immunity, permanent night vision and a pseudo X-Ray vision for ores and chests.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Glowing Ingots.
  • Obtained by crafting (specifically requires a Stage 5 Dragon Skull).
  • The X-Ray vision is a periodic Ender Dragon's roar that highlights the current detected ore/chest in a 10ish block range in every direction.

Uses:

  • Fire Resistance is useful for countless mobs and the Nether Dimension.
  • Night Vision allows you to see faraway threats that you can't normally see in the dark.
  • X-Ray vision is mildly useful for mining.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Dragon Transformation will give all the effects of a Fire Dragon's Eye. The Ice Dragon's Eye can be used with Dragon Transformation for complete immunity to all temperature.
  • Ice Resistance's main use is to be immune to ice breath from Ice Dragons or hypothermia immunity. There are not nearly as much ice related threats compared to fire.
#

Emerald Amulet/Ring

Summary:
(Amulet) (Ring) No innate effect, worn for a quality.

Technical Information:

  • Obtained by crafting or as dungeon loot.
  • Reforged with gold.

Uses:

  • Emerald Amulet/Ring may not have an effect but being a placeholder for a bauble quality is very useful in the early game.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • N/A
#

Ender Queen's Crown

Summary:
(Head) Provides immunity to cold, loyalty from Endermen, chance to spawn endermen, additional range and a tiny chance to dodge damage. Will randomly teleport you when hit by a projectile and weakness to water.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Glowing Ingots.
  • Obtained as a mob drop from "Rare" variant Infernal mobs, can be crafted with an extremely expensive recipe.
  • 1/20 chance to spawn an enderman when being hit. When this effect is triggered, the damage taken will be negated.
  • Endermen will not attack you no matter what.
  • Endermen cannot drop their normal drops when spawned/effected from crown.
  • Reach bonus is +0.5
  • Touching water will reduce mana. You will take damage from water when mana reaches 0.

Uses:

  • Cold immunity is self explanatory.
  • Supplementary specialist combat bauble due to numerous given effects.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • The teleportation side effect is severely fatal as it can indiscriminately teleport you into dangerous situations such as dungeons, underground, right into a dragon's face or otherwise.
  • Use with Polarized Stone in order to constantly drain mana and prevent the extremely dangerous teleport.
  • The Endermen are very effective in dungeons. They can spawn with mob modifiers and can steamroll most dungeons/mob hoards if many of them spawn.
  • Endermen spawners can be taken advantage of to spawn large armies of endermen.
  • Can be put on and off to refresh cold immunity.
#

Faelis Claw

Summary:
(Ring) Gives a tremendous boost of attack damage and a mild bleed effect.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Glowing Ingots.
  • Obtained by crafting.
  • Attack damage boost is 25%.

Uses:

  • The boost in attack damage is good enough to use well into endgame.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Faelis Claw is equal to one level of Strength when your base damage is 12.
  • Faelis Claw is typically more damage than Fire Gauntlet/Mechanical Glove although they are not mutually exclusive.
#

Forbidden Fruit

Summary:
(Any) Provides immunty to nausea and hunger.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Spectral Silt.
  • Obtained as a drop from Husk or as rare dungeon loot.

Uses:

  • Mainly used to counter Inebriation side effect from wine.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • N/A
#

Gluttony Pendant

Summary:
(Amulet) Provides a short Sinful buff that varies in level depending on the recovered hunger given by the food eaten. Greatly increases eating speed.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Spectral Silt.
  • Obtained by crafting.
  • Sinful effect gives 25%+ damage, +3 Armor and +1 Armor Toughness per level.

Uses:

  • Faster eating speed allows for safer gameplay in general.
  • Is a source of Sinful buff which is then extended with wine.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Whale Burgers recovers the most amount of hunger and will give Sinful 6.
  • Every other food besides Whale Burger provides Sinful 3 or lower.
  • Sinful is one of the most powerful buffs available in RLCraft and extending it with wine is a very good strategy.
  • Can be used to source Sinful buff for wine strategies and then replaced with another bauble.
#

Light/Moderate/Heavy Arrow and Bolt Quiver

Summary:
(Back) Provides additional space for arrows/bolts.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Leather.
  • Obtained by crafting.
  • Using a quiver will replace the off-hand with arrows whenever holding a bow. The previous item will not move back into the offhand when the bow is unequipped.

Uses:

  • Additional arrow storage is helpful but not particularly useful in RLCraft.
  • Cheap reforge material means an easy Undying quality.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • The off-hand arrow replacement messes with shields and can be unhelpful.
#

Lucky Horseshoe

Summary:
(Any) Provides immunity to fall damage and a small luck boost.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Spectral Silt.
  • Obtained as dungeon loot.
  • Requirement of 32 agility to use.

Uses:

  • Source of Spectral Silt using the Disintegration Tablet

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Due to the absurd requirement of 32 agility and the fact that fall damage is not very dangerous in RLcraft, Lucky Horseshoe has virtually no uses outside of disintegration.
#

Magic Mirror

Summary:
(Not wearable) Functions as an infinite recall potion.

Technical Information:

  • Obtained as dungeon loot.
  • Magic Mirror does not work cross dimensions without a Respawner Statue like Recall Potions.
  • Requirement of 32 Magic.

Uses:

  • Source of Spectral Silt using the Disintegration Tablet.
  • Item of convenience in the Late/End Game.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Like the Recall Potion, taking damage does not disturb the recall process so the Magic Mirror can be a quick escape from dangerous situations.
#

Miner's Ring

Summary:
(Ring) Provides permanent Haste.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Iron Ingots.
  • Obtained as common dungeon loot.

Uses:

  • Functions the same as a Haste Potion Ring.
  • Haste is fairly useful for mining speed and attack speed.

Summary:
(Any) Provides Wither and Poison Immunity.

Technical Information:

  • Obtained by crafting or as extremely rare dungeon loot.

  • Obtained by crafting or as extremely rare dungeon loot.

  • Wither and Poison immunity is self explanatory but it is preferred to simply craft into an Ankh Charm.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • N/A
#

Obsidian Shield

Summary:
(Back) Combines the effects of the Cobalt Shield and Obsidian Skull. Can be used as an off-hand shield.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Obsidian.
  • Obtained as crafting or as very rare dungeon loot.
  • Mending and Unbreaking function but no other enchantments work.

Uses:

  • Essentially the same uses as the Obsidian Skull as the Cobalt Shield is fairly negligent at the point you are able to obtain the Obsidian Skull.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Quality is retained upon upgrading to Ankh Shield.
#

Obsidian Skull

Summary:
(Any) Provides immunity to burning and 50% fire damage reduction.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Obsidian.
  • Obtained by crafting or as rare dungeon loot (alternative crafting recipes include regular Fire Resistance potions and a Wither Skeleton Skull).
  • Specifically does not provide immunity to lava damage.

Uses:

  • Useful against fire themed dungeons like Obsidian Doomlikes or the bottomost level of Roguelike Dungeons.
  • Can be used as an alternative to Fire Dragon's Eye or numerous fire resistance potions when traversing the Nether.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • The 50% fire damage reduction is mainly useful to combat the deadly flame breath of Fire Dragons but it is recommended to use Fire Resistance Potions / Enchanted Golden Apples to completely negate the damage.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • N/A
#

(Any) Provides poison immunity, a chance to poison enemies on hit and a substantial damage boost against poisoned enemies.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Glowing Ingots.
  • Obtained by Crafting or as a drop from Ultra mobs.
  • Damage boost is +40%.
  • Chance to apply poison is 20% per hit.

Uses:

  • Extremely potent damage boost up until the Endgame.
  • Poison immunity is self explanatory.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Any level of the Envenom enchant will apply Poison Stone's damage boost every hit.
  • Poison Stone is useless in Lost Cities due to parasites' complete immunity to poison meaning the damage boost cannot be applied.
#

Polarized Stone

Summary:
(Belt) Toggleable ability to become an item/experience magnet and repel arrows.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Glowing Ingots.
  • Obtained by crafting.
  • Repel arrow ability consumes approximately 5 mana per second.
  • Item/experience magnet does not consume mana.

Uses:

  • Convenience item to gather materials.
  • Item magnet ability attracts experience orbs which bolsters Mending enchantment repair speed.
  • Synergy item with Ender Queen's Crown.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Commonly used with Ender Queen's Crown to constantly drain mana to prevent the teleportation side effect.
  • The two abilities can be used and toggled by right clicking/crouch right clicking with the Stone in your hand and remains active as long as it is in your inventory.

  • N/A
#

Potion Ring of Regeneration

Summary:
(Ring) Provides permanent regeneration.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Gold.
  • Obtained by crafting or as rare dungeon loot.
  • Regeneration potion effect is significantly slower in RLCraft compared to vanilla due to FirstAid's health system.

Uses:

  • Out of combat health recovery.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • The regeneration is so slow that it is not very efficient to use over Strength, Resistance and sometimes Haste rings in combat situations.
  • Requires a Nether Star to craft which is generally better used for a waystone.
#

Potion Ring of Resistance

Summary:
(Ring) Provides permanent resistance potion effect.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Gold.
  • Obtained by crafting or as extremely rare dungeon loot.
  • Resistance potion effect reduces almost all forms of damage by 15% per level.

Uses:

  • Permanent resistance is extremely good for all purpose damage reduction and Ring of Resistance is beyond all the best Potion Ring.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Gold.
  • Obtained by crafting or as dungeon loot.

Uses:

  • Speed potion effect is useful for mobility equating to safer and more efficient general gameplay.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Ring of Speed's crafting recipe is particularly extremely cheap making it a popular option for early game.
#

Potion Ring of Strength

Summary:
(Ring) Provides permanent strength potion effect.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Gold.
  • Obtained by crafting or as rare dungeon loot.
  • Strength potion effect gives +3 melee damage per level.

Uses:

  • Strength is a supremely useful damage buff in any stage of the game. You can view each level of strength as Sharpness V (both are +3 damage).
  • Cheap reforge means easy Undying quality.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Strength from Umbrium armor set bonus does not stack with strength rings.
#

Pride Pendant

Summary:
(Amulet) Provides a permanent Sinful 1 buff as long as you are full HP.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Spectral Silt.
  • Obtained by crafting.
  • Sinful effect gives +25% attack damage, +3 armor and +1 armor toughness per level.

Uses:

  • Powerful sinful buff is a great help in combat and helps you stay at full HP to continue using the effect.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Particularly effective with any lifesteal/vamp effects as you can continue topping off your health during combat.
  • Utilizing a longer range weapon and/or poke gameplay style is effective to avoid hits and stay at full HP.
  • Effective with Medikit/Enchanted Medikit for fast heals inbetewen combat.
#

Ring of Enchanted Eyes

Technical Information:

Uses:

  • Night vision is extremely useful for seeing threats from far away that you normally couldn't in the dark as well as general increased visibility.
  • Dragon's Eye crafting component.
  • Night vision also makes you immune to Blindness effect.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Deep caving is so dangerous in the early game that Ring of Enchanted Eyes is practically required to do so safely.
#

Ring of Free Action

Summary:
(Ring) Grants immunity to slows, levitation and cobwebs.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Spectral Silt.
  • Obtained by crafting or as extremely rare dungeon loot.

Uses:

  • Particularly useful for ignoring cobwebs in the Lost Cities as the movement impediment can be dangerous/fatal in certain situations.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • When crafting into an Ankh Charm/Shield, the cobweb immunity is lost.
  • Despite it's unique immunity to cobwebs it is often not worth giving up a ring slot for Lost Cities as flight ignores cobwebs and there are tools that instantly break cobwebs.
#

Ring of Overclocking

Summary:
(Ring) Grants immunity to slowness.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Spectral Silt.
  • Obtained as a rare drop from Strays (not affected by looting), as rare drops from Infernal mobs or as extremely rare dungeon loot.

Uses:

  • Crafting component to the Ankh Charm/Shield. It has no other notable uses.

  • Slowness immunity is fairly irrelevant because jump sprinting is not significantly affected.
#

(Ring) Grants permanent Dragon Race transformation.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Glowing Ingots.
  • Obtained as an extremely rare drop in any Lost Cities chest.
  • Bonuses include: innate Fire Dragon's Eye, mana flight, mana cost fire breathing, +25% attack damage +25% max health +50% armor toughness -25% swim speed +20% size.

  • One of the single largest boosts to overall combat power.
  • Essential for wineless Lost Cities combat.
  • Mana flight is an alternative to Flight Potions + Wine.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • You can fit through 2 block spaces by crouching.
  • Mana flight can be maintained through: 2 baubles reforged to arcane (additional mana regen equates to 50% flight uptime), sparkling (25% mana restored)/glittering potions(50% mana restored), mana candy, enchanted golden apples or simply smart usage of flight time.
  • Dragon breath is essentially useless due to weak damage; mana is better spent on flight.
  • The color of the wings can be customized using the blue orb on the bottom right of the player model in the inventory.
  • The reduced swim speed is irrelevant because you can fly in water and flight speed is not affected by water.
#

  • Reforged with Glowing Ingots.
  • Obtained as a rare drop in Lost Cities subway chests.

  • Stat adjustments and bonuses include: -25% attack damage, mana power shot and additional speed/attack speed in forests.

Uses:

  • N/A

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Elf transformation is an active detriment. The -25% attack damage stat adjustment is far, far more significant than the few bonuses it provides.
#

Ring of the Faeles

Summary:
(Ring) Grants permanent Faeles Race transformation.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Glowing Ingots
  • Obtained as a rare drop in Lost Cities buildings chests.
  • Stat bonuses include: +25% speed, +50% attack speed, +50% jump height, +60% swim speed, -15% size
  • Unique bonuses include: Strength, Speed and Jump Boost 4 when drinking milk, massively increased barehanded damage and an innate climbing ability.
  • Slower movement speed when wearing heavy armor.

Uses:

  • Can be crafted into a consumable that grants permanent innate Faeles transformation even after death (can be reversed with Mana Regeant and other race rings can be used concurrently).
  • One of the single largest boosts to overall combat power.
  • Better than Dragon transformation when using wine buffing.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Cat ears. Cat. Ears.
  • Increased bare handed damage means you can specialize build to punch the three final bosses to death.
#

  • Reforged with Glowing Ingots
  • Found as a rare drop in Lost Cities upper floor chests.

  • Stat adjustments include: -50% max hp and significant loss in overall combat power.
  • Unique bonuses include: ability to mount tamed wolves.

Uses:

  • N/A

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • N/A
#

Ring of the Titans

Summary:
(Ring) Grants permanent Titan Race transformation.

Technical Information:

  • Reforged with Glowing Ingots.
  • Obtained as a rare drop in Lost Cities building chests.
  • Stat bonuses include: 3x size, tremendous boost in every stat category except -50% attack speed.
  • Unique bonuses include: 3x3x3 mining, sinking in water and plant trampling.

Uses:

  • Can be used to fight the three final Lycanite bosses.

Strategy, Nuance and Side Notes:

  • Despite the largest attack boost in combat power available in the game, the increased size makes you very vulnerable to the most dangerous threats in Lost Cities. The stat bonuses aren't enough to tank the deadliest parasites. The large size is inconvenient for every situation and the stat bonuses are unnecessary in any other situation.
  • The increased size is the perfect height for Amalgalich's orbs to hit your head. Take care if you decide to fight Amalgalich as a Titan.
  • Despite the 3x3x3 mining size it is better to use other strategies for any mining purpose, even clearing out large areas.
