Hey, so years ago I wandered into a gamesworkshop store and ended up buying the 1st edition starter set. I then later found a Isles of blood box (which I didn't realise was the old game) and got that as well. I fell off from the game for ages up until now. I've recently got a bit back into AOS and have been painting up my stormcast army from the original starter set and a friend has taken the skaven army from the isle of blood box. I was considering looking at getting some more stuff for christmas. I was originally looking at the ultimate starter set with the two spearhead armies as I had heard spearhead is really fun and it has armies for both factions me and my friend are doing up rn. But then I felt like it might be too similar to what I have rn and therefore not worth it. Would it be more worthwhile getting some other spearheads I like the look of or is it still good to get the deal of the 2 armies for a bit less?

I like the stormcast, cities of sigmar, and nighthaunt factions aesthetics so those would be the ones I'm considering getting

The box has great value but if you don't like skaven why bother? I have probably less experience than you since I started aos 3 months ago but when I came across the same problem, I chose a spearhead box of an armie that I liked.
On the other hand, if you like skaven as a fiction and you don't mind painting them (they are difficult to paint), then the ultimate starter set is ideal. You get a good amount of units for both stormcasts eternals and skaven.
