I’m going to be honest, what exactly is wrong with the loose canon that warrants it being reworked and given to the Heavy? It is one of the most well balanced and creatively designed weapons in live TF2.
and it is only criticized by those who think any sort of stun whatsoever no matter how balanced does not belong in TF2, the same types of people who complain about air blast and the FaN and aren’t really willing to compromise on that belief.
If this is just for fun, sure, that’s different and I can certainly see where you’re coming from, but heavy should not be able to shoot grenades. The loose canon as we know it can only work on the demoman.
my main guess is honestly that due to how tf2c operates, demo will just fundamentally not get the loose cannon (especially with the cyclops being kiiiinda the LC standin)
so if a more accurate version gets added then its gonna have to be for a non demoman class
also (maybe an unpopular opinion) im 100% down for heavy getting 'off class' weapons so long as they are, well, heavy weapons
