Scout Melee

+Halved equip time
+When equipped, and the user is hit by a hitscan weapon, the damage is delayed by 0.2 seconds, and if the user right clicks while the weapon is equipped in that timeframe, the hitscan is deflected to where you're looking, with a little bit of spread.
-If youy right click for 0.4 seconds after the shot has been failed to be deflected, you take double damage from that shot, and gain +15% damage vulnerabillity for 4 seconds.
-5% movement speed
-20% Melee damage.
/you fall 10% faster, and fall 20% faster for 4 seconds if you deflect a shot middair.

Visual: Instead of a bat, it's a robotic arm slightly tinted your team color, and a team-colored holographic visor on your right eye.

ok so feedbacker but also OP and also its the fucking feedbacker its not going to fit the visual or balance style of tf2c

like i would maybe understand if it were projectiles only but even then as many people have pointed out before giving scout a parry weapon of any kind really treads on the toes of airblast

scout can already dodge damage incredibly well why the fuck should he also be able to completely negate it AND return it in kind

and this falls into the same camp of scout melees where the downsides aren't functional downsides for scout due to his melee already being useless and -5% movement speed still keeps him the fastest class

Also delaying hitscan damage sounds like it would feel like shit to shoot a scout using this weapon

no instant feedback on your damage he's just a fuckin stone wall who can deflect it all
