#Better Tranquilizer Gun

Currently, the tranquilizer gun is pretty okay and it has its use cases, but generally the revolver is better. The colourblindness effect is interesting as a way to get players to not notice you approaching for a backstab/crit butterknife, while still giving a genuine chance for them to notice.

HOWEVER, in most instances getting tranq'd just results in the spy immediately being killed before they can get into melee range, whether it be by sentry or the tranquilized player turning around and seeing a spy stood with no other players around.

As a fix, I think the tranq gun should EITHER:
A: not break your disguise when fired and instead consume half your cloak meter (if you don't have half your cloak meter the disguise is broken when fired)
or
B: firing the gun doesn't break your disguise instantly, however 5 seconds after firing the disguise breaks so you need to get the backstab quickly and sneak away before other players notice

I don't think that changes much. When you get tranq'd and see someone running at you. What will you do?
A) bomb possably french people
B) sit and pray it's anything but france

Getting killed by a sentry as a spy is your fault 60% of the time (the other 40% its your teammates), and the enemy turning and shooting you is kind of the thing balancing it out

The shank is meant to be used for ambush kills, not head on confrontations. I’d say people thinking otherwise is evidence that the shank needs less emphasis.

When you get damaged it becomes instantly obvious that there is a spy and who it was if they are in your proximity. A more valuable buff would be if it dealt no damage at all

I think spy being able to replicate animations would drastically help his kit. Everyone is much better at gaming and there isnt exactly a punishment to spy check. Your teammates end up getting you killed and some almost do it on purpose. Back in the day he was a lot better. In TF2C we have shit like landmines, the cyclops, heavys AA gun, a lot of spammy weapons that end up accidentally killing a spy. But maybe thats just me
