A primary weapon for the medic based on the single-barrel shotgun from TFC & TF.
I'm aware that a primary shotgun for medic has been tested in the past (could have just been stock shotgun but I'm not too sure) and it simply wasn't healthy for the game. Giving medic reliable ranged damage that can consistently kill players ends up dragging attention away from the medic's primary role in the team. I believe a medic shotgun can work if it was a different weapon from the stock shotgun and if it sucked donkey balls
* Same spread as stock shotgun
* Base damage of 40 (10 pellets, each deal 4 damage)
* Maximum damage ramp-up of 120%
* Same damage falloff as stock shotgun
* Clip size of 8 with a reserve of 14
* Attack interval of 0.5 seconds
* First reload of 1 second, consecutive reload of 0.75 seconds. Medic sucks ass at handling firearms that aren't doohickeys```
The goal of this weapon is to give Medic an option for more consistent self-defense damage at the cost of longer reloads, which could overlap with time you could have spent healing if you were using the syringe gun with its faster reload (if you are loading more than one shell). I've also tried to not make it too powerful to reduce the number of feral medics charging the frontlines and dying instantly.
