I know I'm not the first to come up with this idea, but I wanted to give my take on it. The revolver would do more damage than stock, but only have a clip size of 6 and a lower ammo reserve because the idea of a weapon like this having 200 extra rounds is insane. The primary fire would come with increased accuracy and the ability to head shot cause why not, all with the down side of a slower fire rate. I imagine the slower fire rate would be handled by having the engineer prime the hammer after each shot, but not through a player input but simply as a part of the firing animation. Its secondary fire would be fanning the hammer allowing for increased fire rate faster than stock, at the loss of accuracy. Finally it would have a taunt kill where the engi gets into a dualiwng stance and preforming a quick draw. The name was simply chosen for alliteration and because I thought it was funny.

I don’t know about a specific number (since I don’t know how much stock does) but the idea is just a reasonable amount more than stock, and headshots would crit
I feel like it’s one of those weapons that are so much better then the other 2 that it would have a 98% equip rate which dosent count as balanced even if it’s not game breaking
And if anyone plans on saying coilgun will still be used for the overload jumping
WHEN was the last time you saw an engie use coilgun for mobility? Engie isn’t supposed to have far even mid range dps on his own and the pistol was made to be inconsistent (despite how consistent it is) also going for headshots while a part of me wants to complain about it engineers have 3-4 buildings to constantly maintain and move while spy checking so I doubt engi would have enough time to not only revolver spam at enemies but take more time aiming for headshots
At most this feels like it would amount to a straight upgrade of a secondary because it does slightly more damage then the pistol when there’s a spy or soilder annoying your nest and the shotguns doing 37isg damage
All of that negativity being said I think if engineer were to be given a revolver it should be in a primary slot so it dosent replace and outclass both pistols strongly because I remind that 2 classes have a revolver in there primary slot and then maybe we have something cooking since a shotgun would do 40-30 more damage at closer ranges then a revolver and shoot faster
then we got a sidegrade
Something like the shortstop for engie sounds pretty cool now that I think about it and “give engineer a revolver” sounds like an actual plausible way of accomplishing that :3

I like the idea, but I don't think classes other than Sniper should be able to headshot.
To specify certain details, clip size is 6 and reserve would be about 65, headshots would do as much as an ambassador headshot and would also only register at close to mid range, reload would be slower than stock as the engineer opens the cylinder dumps the casings and puts in the speed loader, and reloading would reload the whole clip like the force-a-nature
