Yeah, no. One philosophy with TF2C mapping, imo, is that you don’t want class locked verticality anymore
Jump pads existing means that snipers and heavies can get to areas that spies cant reach, and shut down an entire area as a result without much of a counter

What could be a fitting downside for an item that lets Sniper get into spots he usually can't?
"Marked for Death while scoped" or something maybe? Then ranged weapons would be able to pressure him with no distance falloff
