I almost won a set against this Manon, but the other player get shutting me out.
Are there any tips for this matchup (and what mistakes do I have to fix)?

Manon can be tricky with her special that sweeps you when you're trying to approach her.
But if you block the move, you have a good amount of time to hit back. I would recommend to switch between walking forward and then crouch blocking for a little bit to see how she reacts, ready to anti-air if she jumps in on you. And if she starts doing her overhead move, that's when you can DI and beat her up.
Throwing out a fireball every now and then to poke at her would do good. Be careful about repeatedly doing two in a row though, or else there's a good chance they'll jump it. You outrange her and she wants to approach you to get her strong grabs to land, so you can either reduce her drive gauge with fireballs when she's trying to approach, or chip away at her health.
