#How to always stay in the learning mindset?

Rest; comeback once your head is less foggy. Small sugar from fruits can be helpful (or coffee but I’m not trying to promote insomnia)

Put a sticky note beside your monitor that you turn and read when that happens
play to learn not to win, you shouldn't give a shit what the other player personally thinks about you (not to be confused with not caring what they're thinking about in terms of strategy). at the end of the day you will probably never face that guy again ever and all you will be left with after that game is some lp change and the knowledge you absorb during the match and in training mode after it
Get fucking drunk
idk if you realize what you're saying with that advice?
Part of it is the equivalent of guy says "I'm depressed" and you replying "Don't be depressed"
The other part is you telling him what a learning mindset is, which he already knows and doesn't answer the question
Realize that fighting games are super hard and no matter what you do, you'll feel weak for the first 1k hours you play
your solution was "read a sticky note to cheer you up :)". At least I gave him the insight that he's needlessly worrying about what someone he will likely never face again is thinking about him...
also giving reassurance that the issue isn't world crushing and completely dismissing it is two different things, so please don't put words in my mouth
