no real secret to that combo, you just have to do it fast
for some characters it works to do the first hit while moving forwards and then just do qcf+p for the dp instead of the dp motion
have you checked the pins?
there are simple char guides for every char, including combos
though sLK xx DP is pretty important for Sakura
Ok. Is there any settings I can set the CPU to so I can know I did it correctly(like if I'm too slow, something will happen).
you set the dummy to block after first attack
Yeah. I downloaded the Sakura quick guide.
Cools thanks
Got to practice a bit yesterday. Saw that I wasn't linking Sakura's LK to M DP correctly(either wasn't coming out or doing too late(CPU was set to block after 1st attack)). Looked up a video and saw that I'd have to perform the input in a specific window around the time the first move ends.
Also realized I might be better off playing on Pad. Felt like I had a somewhat easier time doing QC inputs naturally?
what are you currently playing on?
Stick.
if you switch to pad, most people use dpad instead of analogue stick
also, a lot comes down to personal preference
some people love pad, I hated it
I have an all buttons controller
also, every normal has a so called cancel window
some moves have to be canceled early, some have to be canceled late
it's called cancel because you do the special before the normal ends, so you cancel the normal animation
Got it.
I wouldn’t worry about combos changing in 6 a ton. I played a lot of ryu in the demo and while some routes have changed combos feel relatively similar
Oh ok cool. Well then it'll help that I get used to comboing in V then
I like stick but pad is also neat.
You can totally learn on stick
Sorry I just saw this lol
It takes a few days to get used to
Whereas pad might feel more natural since it's a pad and you prolly use it all the time haha
One thing I also noticed is that on pad while QC inputs can feel more accurate....pressing the normal buttons can be a bit awkward.
What I hate about pad is when you need to hit the bumper and trigger at the same time
