Hello, i’ve started playing sfv 6days ago and managed to reach silver yesterday. I would like to know if you think reaching plat before the release of sf6 is doable in your opinion (no matter what i will still try to go as high as possible)

probably not, I have a bunch of prior knowledge in games closer to sfv and it still took me about 80-90 hours to get to gold (and a bunch of people here started the game with way more experience than I had and still needed some time to hit those milestones), and gold is where it starts getting a bit harder to climb cause peeps actually know how to play
you're talking about reaching the top 5% in less than a month of play. Consider that even gold ranks is top 15-10% of players

there's an exponential climb in elo, it s gonna be harder the higher you climb cause your opponents stop doing unsafe shit every second and know their characters
