#Cammy assistance, I don't understand this

so i think the real question is what are you doing at close range that is causing people to not budge.
are you effectively threatening your opponent enough by mixing up strikes and throws to make them scared of you when youre up close
are making good use of your movement speed and plus ob buttons to stagger your opponents and maybe steal some turns
you want to take full advantage of the "rushdown" in rushdown
and force your opponent to make correct guesses on defense or else be put in constant pressure.
I'd have to get the replay of the guy that stomped me
yeah that'd be great

so from this position here you've already effectively won the round. falke has to be the one to approach you assuming you just sit there and block and you're in the driver seat for the game
you should use the opportunity you have in the corner to dictate the pace of the game and that pace doesn't have to be "I have to hit them now"
during the corner sequence the falke gave you multiple opportunities that could've lead to pressure like the whiffed st.hp or the buttons to check movement forward or the jump out that went unpunished because of the missed aa
so they're not even the type to "not budge" when put under pressure, but are already feeling the pressure and are already cracking because they're faced with the threat of being locked in the corner
but okay we can't keep people in the corner forever and they fight their way out and we return to neutral
funnily enough you had the right idea right here but the wrong punish
which i assume is just from lack of cammy experience
but yeah you did like vt activate > spiral arrow
where you could've easily just did like cr.mk or st.hp xx hk spiral arrow
or even just raw spiral arrow
but this shows me that you do know how to whiff punish but just don't have the practice playing cammy to do the right punish
and that interaction was kind of the nail in the coffin for that round
you did manage to land another hit from the divekick but missed the followup
moving to round 2 which im assuming is more inexperience with knowing cammy's max range, you attempt to go for st.mk here
i don't even think a lot of characters buttons reach this far bar dhalsim or poison

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you may have been trying to check forward movement
but even if that was the case you kind of already know falkes gameplan isn't going to be a lot of moving around
and its mostly just checking you with her buttons.
and then you kind of give up the rest of the round sending spiral arrows in hopes that you'll catch her swinging like last time
but she just blocks and punishes and the rest of the round is history.
so the important takeaways are going to be one work on the your whiff punishes. that was probably the big key thing that made this match hard was not converting on falke missing big buttons. so you didn't get too many opportunities to run your offense
and two working on your movement, either to make your approaching movement tighter so you can more easily get in range while walking and blocking and/or throwing out counter poke buttons
also work on hovering around your opponents biggest button range and look for opportunities to strike on the big whiffed buttons
and third if you wanna add this on is to create a gameplan to keep your opponents in the corner.
