#1- Theres a 4 hit cap on hive, which means the max amount of hits a person can take is 4 hits in 1 second, if you understand how "1 cps combos" work then that should be understandable. To get max combos (very long and high combos), i "max" out the hit cap. Maxing out the hit cap is hitting them as quickly as possible after the hit cooldown.(when they turn red) So i suggest taking whatever cps you have now, and adjusting it( clicking a little slower or a little faster) to how the hit cooldown and hit cap works. Keeping your distance is also key. Id suggest staying just at the hit range(3 Blocks). To make combos easier, you can hit them with a snowball first and then start hitting them, this makes combos much easier to achive and maintain.(also doable with a bow shot)

I get 12 cps, which maxes out your hits very well. I suggest finding a cps that works for you, and practice maintaining that cps for extended periods of time so you can maintain combos. I hope i explained this well lol

You can only hit an entity every 500ms so that would be 2 hits per second if your timing is absolutely perfect (unlikely)

The higher your CPS, the more likely you are to time your hits within those 500ms intervals
